- Hi there! I just graduated with a B.S. in microbiology/immunology and a makeup artistry diploma as well. I know, I know....science and makeup??! Well, I hope to create my own makeup line one day, and I think my background in microbiology will aid me in this pursuit. As for now however, I am applying to the Vancouver Film School's Makeup Design program for Film and TV. Hopefully, I'll get accepted, do well, and get into the industry where I can really let my creative talent blossom :-)
Most importantly though, as a makeup enthusiast and eager learner, I'm very excited to be among fellow beauty addicts who are willing to share their makeup experiences and techniques!

- For a nice, natural day eye makeup look:
1) Apply a light tone to the eye lid, blending up and outward to the brow bone. You can use a highlighter shade on the brow bone if you wish.
2) Instead of using a darker tone in the crease, you can try this: proceed to line your upper lash line with a brown-hued eyeliner (or shadow). Using a small angled brush, you can then blend this line out and up from the lash line into the outer "v" of the eye to create a shadowing effect.
3) Apply a couple coats of mascara (lower lashes optional)
This will give you slight definition in the crease and outer lid of your eyes. It is a very subtle and natural look, and great when you're in pinch and don't have time to spend on eye makeup!
