Hi River,

For waterproof/run-proof mascara my choice is Maybelline. It has amazing staying power. The only downside for me is that the mascara is a bit thick compared to my normal non-waterproof mascaras (Chanel and Lancome) but as I wrote it really does perform and you won't be left with black smudges under your eyes or as my nephew likes to call them panda eyes :)

I have to try it. Which Maybelline waterproof mascara is it? I've tried Volum' Express water proof and it did a decent job.

I love Loreal Voluminous waterproof.

So far that is my favorite. I recently ran out of it, so I picked up Revlon FabuLash Mascara waterproof, and it is HORRIBLE.

I think Cover Girl Fantastic Lash waterproof (wait, I'm not sure, it might of been Cover Girl Volume Exact water proof) is decent and Cover Girl Lash Exact Waterproof works well; but Loreal Voluminous has been my favorite.

I got married in April, so that's why I have been trying so many. I usually don't wear waterproof, but my eyes have been watering a lot because of allergies, so I've been wearing it a lot more.

I also tried the waterproof version of Almay One Coat Triple Effect Mascara and it was horrible.

Right now I'm waiting to use up all the Revlon before I purchase another waterproof (I say that because I literally had 3 different waterproof mascaras open until recently).

Well, I may buy another waterproof mascara, but I won't open it until the Revlon is done. Ugh, it is really horrible. It flakes off and isn't really all that water proof. And yes, it does say waterproof on the tube. :)

Right now I'm using Almay One Coat Nourishing Thickening Mascara as my regular mascara. I'm in a hurry to use it up because I have a few others I've already purchased that I'm waiting to try.

Sorry this is so long!!

I use Kanebo's 38 degrees C. The mascara will only come off with water that is warmer than 38 degrees C (hence the name!) It also has fibres in it that apply to your lashes as you coat it with the mascara, so it gives your lashes a longer looking appearance. This is a link to the review I did on it: http://www.makeupminute.com/kanebo-cosmetics-38c-silk-performance-m...

Awesome advice everyone! I have used Cover Girl and maybelline mascara before and for some reason, i always end up with panda eyes at the end of the day. :( Perhaps I'll give Loreal a try.

Ok, I have another one to add--Prescriptives Here To Stay 24-hour Longwear Mascara. I just got it this week and I love it!

I'll have to check out Prescriptives.

I've looked for 38 degrees, but I can't find that in my area.

I use Arbonne About Face mascara. Its not waterproof but water resistant. I've never had a problem with it clumping, unlike other brands that I've used. It lasts for a long time to. You can find it on my website. www.cfergalicious.myarbonne.com
