About Me:

Well my name is Nichole or Nikki. I am 31 years old and finally I am doing what I have always wanted to do in life and that is art. But I am doing art with Make-up and hair. I listened to my parents and went to college when I really wanted to go to cosmetology school. To them that was a waste of time. So I have wasted 4 years of college (which I hated), spent the next 7 years going from one meaningless job to another just to find myself back where I started. So I have finally graduated from the Make-Up Designory aka MUD, located in Burbank, CA. For the first time in my life I am starting to feel like I am on the right track. I love art and I love make-up and hair styling. I moved out of Kansas City (where I have lived in all my life) and out to Burbank/LA in May. I know this is a big change but a change in my life that I desperately needed and wanted. My next step is getting my cosmetology license.

Favorite Makeup Line

I honestly love MUD products, Mudshop, and not because I attended school there but because the product is great. I also love MAC for their pigments and vibrance. I love makeup in general.

Favorite Makeup Tip

Finally learning concealing and hilite and shadow. Orange really does cancel out blues which is really what your dark circles are under your eyes (even when they look purple or brown.... they are truly are blue in reality). Freckles which are brown can be covered by pinks, and reds are covered by green ( and not that crazy grass green or other greens they try to sell you). TONE is what it is all about.
