- I'm a stay-at-home-mommy for the time being. I recently left Corporate America to devote my time to my best accomplishments, my three children.
By profession, I worked in the world of architecture/engineering, coordinating projects on large and small scales in the higher education, health and wellness, and science and technology market sectors. It is very challenging, interesting, demanding, rewarding, fast paced and fun all at once. I am looking to get back into the swing of things by the summer.
My hobbies include cooking, reading (Shelfari.com search Monique), anything having to do with makeup is all ME, writing, making beaded jewelry and on a small scale but rewarding gardening.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Makeup! The bug bit me when I was all of 14 years old, rocking Maybelline eyeliner and BonneBell Lipsmackers...lol!
Now, I am looking for the best, most sanitary, least messy, cost effective way to store my tons of lipsticks, glosses, pots, shadows, liners, mascaras, perfumes, body shimmer, lotions, potions, etc. I think Container Store is going to be seeing alot of me. I am running out of counter space. Ask my hubby, he'll glady vouch to this!
Is that enough about me...or would my shoe size help? For those loving shoes, I've bit bitten by that bug too! I just didn't want to go on about it. Soooo, I'm an 8.5 M for those who care to swap/sell any cute shoes!!!

- Apply eye makeup first then add foundation, concealer etc. Works wonders for keeping any fallout (use primer to avoid this) off the face!

- girl I think i'm about to be a dread...becuz once the summer comes...my hair is gonna do it's won thing. I've worn it super short to super long and had it as a low fro..faded...braided etc. but seriously I don't know what to do right now..I need a consultation..lol..let's get together soon...I'm pull together a few girlies for maybe mid April, that way I'll have some free time. Maybe we can go to Straits that new restaurant that Ludacris has...i'll call you hopefully this wkend. what time is good for u?

- Monique, I think I have something for you my dear. I do know of someone who would be onboard with something like this in fact she is trying to create something similar so she's serious. I will connect you two. She works for the Doubletree right now. The other thing is that Pooka may be looking for reps. I can ask Dawn about this since this will be for Atlanta..so right up your alley! - doing good girl and I just did an event with her the other day..I did a book signing for my book and she sold her products. we were at the embassy suites in perimeter. she may have something else here in 2 wks I'll let you know..and I may be there. stay dry out there!
