The type of tweezers you are using may be the culprit. You should purchase a good set of slanted tweezers. You should be able to find these at any beauty supply store. Next you can either put some ice in a towel and hold it over the area for 5 to 10 minutes (depending on your skin) before tweezing or apply Orajel or Anbesol on the area before tweezing. This should help tremendously.
