Me?

I'm just a makeup artist.

I get to try out makeup, test them out on photo shoots (and even myself) and figure out cool makeup tips, tricks and ideas in the process. Can't think of a better job than that. There's nothing I love more than finding a new beauty product that works, and creating a beautiful makeup.

I'm 40-something, live in NY and LA (yep, the bi-coastal thing and love it.)

My inspiration is to be the next Kevyn Aucoin. It'll never happen and that's how I want it. Because his work inspires me and he'll always be the best makeup artist of our time. But it's fun to try.

Goals? To have my own makeup line (hmmm, getting close!), continue my editorial work and continue inspiring others.

I enjoy cosmetics and seem to keep purchasing lip products to the point of insanity. I am a lip balm addict!

I write a blog, but my real job is as an appellate court attorney. I admit that It is an odd mix! :)

Hello ! I'm a 56 years'old makeup artist and i came recently to this job, 2 years ago...Yes i was already an esthetician when i'm nineteen but i worked only three years in that job and after I prefered make my family (3 children)....Till my passion get me back !!! ( so did it quit me ?). After 8 months learning so here i'm I and i continued to learn on about 12 films, short, mid and long since...I've always dream to be a maouse on the set to see all and i get that ! I love makeup and I'm always about to learn more so I travel on the web to do so...and i met Elke beauty newslettter ! I always try to work with good persons and she is ! It was a god meeting this day !

Hello Everyone! My name is Sharnell. I am a Licensed Esthetician and a Full-Time Mommy. I originally started in the beauty industry hoping to get into make up. I LOVE makeup! When I was 16 years old, I did the makeup for my sister's entire wedding party and it was so much fun. Anyhow, my husband's job moves us all around which afforded me the opportunity to practice my skincare trade in Europe. It was amazing.

Now, we are back in the US and I have decided to dip my feet into the online beauty world.
