I'm looking for advice from anyone out there who has experience in skin care and application of makeup (recommendation of products, please) for mature skin. My son is getting married in 4 weeks and I have no idea how to achieve a look that won't make me appear either washed out or like a lady-of-the night on the photos that will be taken. Help, please!
PS I'm a relatively young-looking 6o with light skin tone and salt and pepper (brunette/silver) hair. Don't know if this is relevant, but I've attached a photo of myself in the dress I will be wearing to the wedding.

My mom wears Estee Lauder double wear foundation. And last fall she started wearing NARS loose powder. She loves NARS. Before all of her products were Estee Lauder, but now she is venturing out.
I like the NARS powder too. My mom and I both wear the "Eden" shade. It blends well and doesn't look like a mask. When I got married I wore concealer and the NARS loose powder and no foundation. (I also had on a little blush and eye makeup.) NARS makes some really nice blushes too. I would get a tone that is more of a peach rather than a pink.
Your skin looks great, so you might want to skip foundation too.
Anyway, I'm not a make up expert, but that is my two cents.
I'm sure you are going to look lovely. Your dress is very pretty, and I can't believe you are 60! You look a lot younger.
I was sent products by Emerita and I passed them onto my mother to review for me. She is 55 and the skin care is geared towards women in menopause. She absolutely loved the Emerita Day Face Cream SPF15. Here is the link to the review: http://gottaspa.blogspot.com/2007/07/review-emerita-day-face-cream-...
I hope this helps in regards to skin care!
